With willingness and fortitude I King-David Solomon Kamasa accept to work with the council in the capacity as SRC PRESIDENT for the 2017/2018 academic year.
For i deem it great honor to serve the entire students populace. Leadership I believe is the platform given to an individual to serve a group of people with a common visions and objectives.
I believe that majority of the students population have chosen me or us to satisfy their needy desires by means to prioritize their interest. I am of the opinion that a leader with cooperative followers will make a great, hard working and lovely team. On this note i join hands with all my team mates for work to officially begin and I as well say to my team mates and colleague executives that, on no account will any look warm attitude will be tolerated. We took a decision to serve the people and we must do so to the best of our ability. I also wish to use this opportunity to solicit for the incontrovertible support of the council and the entire students body to make our reign a success.
We envision this office as a platform to serve fellow students of our university.
In light of this, my outstanding Vice President Mr. Daniel Osei Agyei, my diligent executives and my honorable self are willing and ready to work hand in hand with the entire students body and the university council to create a productive bridge which would ensure optimum cooperation between students and the university council to rise the flag of our university to premium standard. This would be achieved by making decisions that are in the best interest of students and the university community at large.
With high held optimism of the baton that has been handed over to me, not only will the welfare of students be our primary objective as a team but the eagerness to contribute a meaningful quota to the development of tertiary education will also be a topmost priority.
Regardless of the fact that we all owe our upbringings to different backgrounds, it will be an honor to get all students on board, this will foster the rate at which success will be marked as a team.
In other to reach our paramount hope (The 5 star policy), we all have to be one body and work as a team.

In conclusion, our 5 star policy will see light from this day on to alivate the suffering of the student. Oh Lord we pray for peace and stability for Koforidua Technical University.
May the Lord Almighty rest His hands on as we render service to humanity.
